Click Wheels - Tracking Counters for MTG

A simple improvement to MTG, wheels. A product designed specifically for the game that makes tracking everything much easier.

While a spinning counter that rotates through set numbers is not revolutionary by any means, what's at the heart of the wheel is what sets it apart. And what sets it apart is what makes it perfect for MTG.

A tactile and audible click when ticking the wheel either up or down. There were a couple of reasons that I spent months honing this part of the design.

1. It's fun, often times when I show these to people their initial reaction is "oh that's neat" which then changes to a look of "oh, hell yeah" when they first hear and feel the click. 
2. It makes it harder to cheat whether intentional or not. Dice are volatile, especially at a cramped fold out table like many of us play at on a weekly or sometimes daily basis. Its easy to knock dice over and "forget" what number it was on. These make it so every tick upwards makes a sound and every time the table gets knocked around, everything stays on the number that they were meant to be on. 
3. Because of the click, you oddly end up tracking things a little better, and I find it helps newer players because your brain kind of wants to click the wheel

Each wheel will withstand around 50000 clicks before starting to wear down, which is unfortunately inevitable because of the materials used in the making of these. The springs wear down over time, despite being made out of the best material I could find for this use case, which is why I include extra springs with your order. The faces are snap fit, which means you can easily pull the wheel apart to either clean out some dust to restore the click, or replace the spring if it happens to fail. 

The wheels themselves have a very minimal impact in terms of space, they are 4mm tall and about the size of a quarter, but there are two different forms of storage for them, the bottom of one of the deck boxes or their own separate carrying case which holds either 20 or 50 wheels. 

Going forward I will have many more options for these, so that you can further customize the set of wheels you want for your MTG decks or playgroup as well as a larger size that will be meant for spelltable or individuals with larger hands.  So make sure to check back or fill out our contact form if you have a wheel idea that you would like to see produced.
